Professional Experience

My sixteen-year career has been an incredible ride. As you’ll see below, it began at an entertainment PR agency in New York City with clients including HBO, Pokémon, SEGA, 20th Century Fox and Nickelodeon. From there, I switch coasts and continued my publicity career as Senior Publicist for the gaming network G4 (launching American Ninja Warrior and actually getting to run the course, nbd).

Bit of a pivot in 2013 as I entered the world of digital publishing as Community Manager and head of social for one of the top 30 sites (and apps) on the planet. Headquartered in Austin, I rose through the ranks to lead all digital marketing efforts for the $65 million ecomm store, launched a golf line with Bill Murray and led communications for a billion-dollar unicorn startup.

I stayed in the startup game moving back home to Colorado to take the role of Director of Marketing for Shinesty, a DTC ecomm startup. Unfortunately, a pandemic cut that gig short but it did bring me back to Los Angeles and G4.

I currently serve as Vice President of Digital Content and Channel Growth for Skybound Entertainment, the multi-platform entertainment company responsible for The Walking Dead, Invincible, and Impact Winter. I oversaw the social media and community department, the digital marketing department (email, CRM, SMS) and all ecommerce and loyalty initiatives.

Oversee go-to-market digital content strategies for Skybound’s video games, comic books, movies, television shows, and podcasts.

Since August 2024, have also been tapped to be head of ecomm and loyalty initiatives, handling all consumer product launches and major beats including Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Invincible Season 3 merchandise releases.

Accomplishments:

Led all audience development for Skybound including social media, email marketing, SMS marketing, video platforms, ecommerce, loyalty programs and marketing analytics.

  • Successfully established the social media and community department and expanded all content marketing initiatives with the launch of ten digital channels including TikTok, Discord and Reddit.

  • 2024 highlights: Over 1.5 million new followers, 300 million video views, 43 million engagements and 1.9 million shares; a 777% increase in engagements and 2000% increase in video views YoY.

  • Led all live-event digital marketing strategies including San Diego Comic-Con, netting 17 million video views, 2 million engagements, 1.7 million likes and half a billion impressions at SDCC.

  • Created community department, driving a 300% increase in growth on Discord and Reddit.

Skybound Entertainment

Oversaw all marketing communications and community strategies for G4, the gaming and fandom network owned and operated by Comcast Spectacor.

Accomplishments:

  • Developed and led the go-to-market communications strategy for the network launch, resulting in over 4 billion earned media impressions in the six weeks leading up to the premiere.

  • Spearheaded all external communications tactics, including the creation and distribution of press releases and press kits, establishment of media partnerships, submission of panels and awards, management of crisis communications, executive/talent media training, and interviews.

  • Ran the community management department, driving significant growth and retention on primary community channels such as Reddit and Discord.

Led all social media, digital marketing, community and communications strategies for all of Chive Media Group’s verticals including digital publishing, e-commerce, charity, and OTT initiatives.

Accomplishments:

  • Led all social media content creators, editors, and data teams, initiating a 300% growth in likes, 250% growth in Instagram followers, and 200% growth in video views in an 18-month span.

  • Head of community relations to over 200 regional fan-groups responsible for over $10 million raised for charity.
